Quilting
The Women of the ELCA (WELCA) chapter at Cameron Emmanuel, quilts all year long creating over 30 handmade quilts each year. The majority of the quilts are given to people in need through the ELCAs Global and Domestic Mission divisions however some are given out locally or auctioned off at the Annual Cameron Harvest Bazaar.

Personal Care Kits
Every year during Lent, Cameron Emmanuel collects toiletries, towels and other personal care items that we bundle together to create kits that we send out via the ELCAs Global Mission Division to people in need. This year our goal is to be able to send 20+ kits.
Each Kit Includes the following:
1 bath towel, dark color recommended, approximately 52″ x 27″ (lighter weight, not heavy/plush)
2/3 bath size (3-5 oz, 9 oz total) bars of soap in original wrapping
1 Adult sized toothbrush in original packaging
1 Sturdy Comb
1 metal nail clippers, attached file optional
While this ministry is focused on during Lent, we will gladly accept donations throughout the year.

Donations can be dropped off at Cameron Emmanuel in the Narthex during the day, or at the Lent services on Wednesday evenings. You can also contact Sandy Lawrence if you are unable to come to Cameron Emmanuel, it is out of the Lent season, or if you would prefer to make a financial donation to this ministry.
Baby Care Kits
These kits are used in refugee camps, hospitals, and villages around the world, gifts of Lutheran World Relief (LWR) baby care kits convey a warm welcome to newborns and their mothers.
Each Kit includes the following:
2 lightweight cotton t-shirts (no onesies)
1 dark hand towel
2 gowns or sleepers (no feet)
1 sweater or jacket w/hood (include cap if no hood)
2 receiving blankets (up to 52″ square)
2 pairs of socks
2 bath-size bars (4-5 oz) gentle soap
2 diaper pins
4 cloth diapers (flat fold preferred)
