Worship is at the heart of our life together as a faith community. In worship we are encountered by the living God who meets us in Word and Sacrament. We are transformed by the good news of Jesus Christ, whose life, death and resurrection strengthen us in faith and hope. From worship we are sent out into our daily lives, empowered by the Holy Spirit to share God’s gift of love with all.
SUNDAY MORNING
We offer one worship service every Sunday at 10:00am. Our services are full liturgy using a variety of music primarily accompanied and led by the pastor, or lay leader and piano. We sing hymns from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW) and Praise hymnals and use ELW liturgies as well as Marty Haugen’s Now the Feast Liturgy for services. Holy Communion is celebrated 2-4 times per month and on Festival Sundays.
Note for families: There are activity bags available during worship. Children are also invited to partake in Holy Communion as a sign of God’s grace. As they grow older, they will be taught about the meaning and significance of this Sacrament in age-appropriate classes.
Holy week will have services on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.
